RING SIZING TIPS

  • To get the most accurate sizing, I would always recommend being measured at a local jewellers.

  • If this isn’t possible there are a few ways of measuring at home, but beware that these can sometimes give you a false measurement!

  • Many of my designs have wider bands. This generally means 5mm - 10mm wide.

  • Medium wide band - 5-7mm

  • Wide band - 8-10mm

  • If you have a ring at home that is the SAME band width (and fits you comfortably) as the one you would like to have fit you, you can use this as a guide for your size.

  • If you are measuring your finger at home with a bought ring sizer, it is quite likely it will have a narrow gauge. If this is so, you will need to add on a 1/2 size for a medium wide band, a full size for a wide band or even a little more depending on your finger shape. Please pop me a message if you are unsure.

  • If you are measuring a ring on a sizing mandrel, you should always read the measurement from the centre of the ring and not the leading edge.

  • Finger sizes change through-out the day! Take time to measure yourself at different times; eg. Mornings, evenings, hot hands and cold hands. Usually you can find an average size that will fit you most of the time.

  • If you are still having troubles finding the right ring size, please message me and we can have a chat.
