Returns and Exchanges

• Returns and exchanges excepted- Please notify me and return the undamaged item, in its original packaging within 14 days of Purchase.

• Customers are liable for all return postage costs.

• All custom and made-to-order pieces, sadly cannot be returned, so please choose your ring size and stone carefully. If you have any problems please do just pop me a message.

• All my pieces come with a three month warranty for any design flaws or faulty construction. What this does not include are: Wear and tare, improper handling, improper storage of your jewellery, water damage to stones, extreme sun exposure and exposure to harsh chemicals/ oils etc (please see ‘Caring for your Cicadaseed Jewellery section for more information)

Commissions and custom orders

• Commissions and custom orders welcome so please just pop me a message if there is a piece that you love and you would like one making in your size. I have a beautiful collection of stones, so please message me if you would like to see them for a project.

• I’m very open and excited to hear about your ideas and look forwards to creating something unique for you, however all pieces that I make will be in my style.

• If you have a special stone at home that you would like me to set, let’s have a chat about it to see if it’s possible. (all personal stone orders will have to be agreed and signed for incase of accidental damage in the making process)

• At this time, I do not melt down existing jewellery, but this is something I look forwards to doing in the future.

• The majority of my work is created in Sterling silver, 18kt, 22kt and 24kt gold.

• All my chains can be customised, so please pop me a message if you would like to choose a different size, a non-oxidised finish or a gunmetal finish.

• Before the making process can begin, we will have an initial consultation to discuss the idea or the adaptation of a design. Once we have settled on an idea, I start off by drawing up a few sketches around what we have discussed and giving you a estimate of the cost. There is a non-refundable fee of £30 to create these drawings, however this will be knocked off the final bill at the end.

• I ask for 50% of the over-all price before I begin making and then the last 50% will be paid once the piece is finished.

• I take payments through PayPal and Bank transfer.

• Payment in stages can be taken for orders over £100.

• Commissions usually take between 3-5 weeks. During busy periods this may be a little longer.

Assay office and Hallmarking

• Each piece that I make in precious metal has been Hallmarked and approved by the London Assay office.

• Any piece of jewellery made from silver and weighs under 7.78g may not have a Hall mark as this is not a legal requirement.
